Vintage Pewter Coffee Pot Teapot Marked Genuine Pewter circa 1920’s Coffee - Tea Pot Shabby Chic Metalware Tea Pot
Sometimes a mystery box can bring rare treasures! One such box was full of wonderful antique pewter! Available today is this lovely Coffee Pot – Tea Pot which dates to around circa 1920’s.
The pitcher is 6-1/2” tall, there is 3-1/4” base diameter and at the mouth is 3-3/8” in diameter. The Coffee Pot holds 32 ounces or 4 cups of liquid. The top is attached by a hinge and is still in great working condition. The bottom of the coffee pot is marked with Genuine Pewter on the bottom which was a standard way of marking pewter in the 1920’s.
Pewter is one of the most alluring realms among American antiques because it is so intimately bound up with the everyday life of our forefathers. In the first place it was what you might call a finely democratic article. It was made for people who could not afford much silver or who did not want to use their silver all the time. It happened not to be as elegant as silver in color or texture but it had about it an air of distinction and a certain substantial solidity that reflected the comfortable character of the people who used it in their homes.
For being just over 80 years old the coffee pot is in appropriate vintage condition…there are 4 small dents / dings, the spot has been pushed in slightly, the handle on the bottom seems to have been pushed in slightly, and the coffee pot has normal vintage wear marks for its age!
Whether for the new collector or the connoisseur, this rare pitcher will be an amazing addition to any antique / vintage pewter collection!!

Return Policy: Please note that all of our items are antique or vintage and have prior years of use and wear.
If you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact me within 14 business days of receiving your item and we mutually agree upon the problem. Buyer remorse or failure to read the description completely are not reasons for returning an item.
Buyer is responsible for all shipping cost for items returned unless the item is received damaged or there was an obvious listing error.

I refund original product purchase price only - not any fees associated with specialty requests such as sizing, gift wrapping, etc. Upon receipt of the item in original condition which it was shipped a 10% restocking fee is charged on all returns for any reason, unless an obvious error has been made in the listing or the return is associated with damage.
If the item is damaged during shipment, please take a pictures of the outside of the box showing the damage from different angles, Pictures of the the inner packaging, then pictures of the damaged item itself.
There are never too many pictures for insurance claims. You will be reimbursed for all costs via the source of your payment once the claim has been excepted. You may have to return the item to me or to the insurer so please keep the item until told otherwise.
