Vintage Paragon Pink & Yellow Rose Teacup and Saucer by Royal Appointment To Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth A4350 English Tea Cup 1940's Bone China
The Paragon China Company was a British manufacturer of fine bone china known for producing high quality tea and tableware, and was granted royal warrants by several members of the British Royal Family. The Paragon name was discontinued in 1992 and although some patterns remain in production under the Royal Albert name – this was also discontinued by Royal Doulton.
This lovely pairing was by Royal Appointment of Queen Elizabeth. Based on the Paragon stamp design the warrant issued for this set was done around the 1940s.
This wonderful set is in magnificent condition! The handle and gentle scalloping on the edges is accented with bright gold gilding. The design of the pairing is three beautiful roses; 1 yellow and 2 pink on a bright white base.
The cup measures 2-3/4” tall to the top of the handle, 3-7/8” across the top and 1-7/8” across the base. The saucer measures 5-1/2” across the top, 1/2” in height and 1-5/8” across the base. There are 2 minor production blemishes – one on the outside on the yellow rose and one on the inside; but both are covered by glaze. Otherwise there is no other damage of chips, cracks, scratches, crazing or repairs.
Whether for the new collector or the connoisseur, this stunning, royally designed teacup & saucer will be a lovely addition to any vintage china collection!!

I refund original product purchase price only - not any fees associated with specialty requests such as sizing, gift wrapping, etc. Upon receipt of the item in original condition which it was shipped a 10% restocking fee is charged on all returns for any reason, unless an obvious error has been made in the listing or the return is associated with damage.
If the item is damaged during shipment, please take a pictures of the outside of the box showing the damage from different angles, Pictures of the the inner packaging, then pictures of the damaged item itself.
There are never too many pictures for insurance claims. You will be reimbursed for all costs via the source of your payment once the claim has been excepted. You may have to return the item to me or to the insurer so please keep the item until told otherwise.
